Leistung NG
A web-based system for recording and reporting research performance — publications, doctoral candidates, patents, third-party funded projects and more. Builds on PROMAN NG data.
Research performance in one place
Leistung NG helps research institutions record the results of their work systematically — from publications and talks, through doctoral candidates and completed degrees, to patents, awards and third-party funded projects. The collected data feeds annual reports, evaluations and reporting to sponsors and funding bodies.
The system is directly connected to the management information system PROMAN NG and works on its data — sub-projects, departments and staff. Every record is assigned to a specific project and financial year, so nothing has to be entered twice.
Leistung NG is the successor of the earlier desktop performance module. As a web application it needs no installation on the user's side — a web browser is all it takes.

Working with the data
- clear lists with filtering, sorting and grouping

Access rights
Access is controlled on two levels: rights to the individual areas of the application (no access / read / edit) and the user's role in a sub-project. Each user therefore sees and edits only the records of the projects they are authorised for.

Client
A current web browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox). No installation on the user's side.
Server — Windows
Windows Server 2016 or later with IIS and the ASP.NET Core Hosting Bundle for .NET 10. The WebSocket protocol must be enabled in IIS.
Server — Linux
Distributions supported by .NET 10 (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE). The application runs on the Kestrel server behind an Nginx or Apache reverse proxy with WebSocket support. Running in a Docker container is also possible.
Database
MS SQL Server — a database shared with PROMAN NG. Support for Oracle DB and PostgreSQL is in preparation.
