About the product
e‑VEGA is an electronic system for administering grants and submitting applications for funding from the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS).
The e‑VEGA® system is implemented as a web application with data storage on SQL servers. For load balancing, the web applications run identically on the servers of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Ministry, while the data is stored on and read from two mutually replicating SQL servers. On the client side, a standard web browser is all that is needed.
